At this point, it feels like the executions were an outlier. Part of me wonders if they were even real. Could've just been a scare tactic. Keep us in line. I smelled the blood, but. I don't know. Hard not to question reality, sometimes. We were all still new, back then. Maybe we weren't following the rules fast enough.
