He has the facial equivalent of a ring of coffee left on a dirty tablecloth. If he stood next to a quail egg with googly eyes on it, I wouldn't be able to tell the two of them apart.
Anyone would notice those moles. Having two heads would be less noticeable.

[ that's actually - a huge relief. derek had been convinced tate was going to starve, only surviving on a supply of scraps that would inevitably dry up when derek gets caught sneaking them away. tate's caving, and he's coming to him for support. that's... good. ]
